how can shorts and jeans be that different?

so how come i can go to a certain store and grab a pair of skinny jeans and be on the way but cant do the same with shorts? i bring in different styles, lengths, cuts and most of the time i end up settling on a pair because i refuse to leave the store empty handed and this has been going on for a few years now so i shouldnt have expected today to go any better i was in the store for over an hour and ended up with a pair of dark wash bermudas i will say though i am happy with my purchase but this is just the begining and the thing is i always want new shorts/capris because i dont like the ones from last year that i bought and i wonder why i bought them in the first place and then i remember that if i didnt buy them i wouldnt have had any shorts to wear! so i am pledging to do better this year to venure out to other stores and hope for the best all im asking is for a few great pairs of shorts/capris is that too much to ask and if all else fails u will all be seeing me in my yoga gear that i recently purchased its very cute
